By downloading, installing, or using Tally ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
Tally is a personal expense tracking application that allows users to record, categorize, and analyze their spending. Features include AI-powered receipt scanning, budget management, family sharing, and financial reporting.
To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

If you create a family group, you are responsible for managing member access and ensuring all members comply with these Terms. Family admins can view and manage expense data for all family members according to their assigned roles.
You retain ownership of all data you input into the App, including expense records and receipt images. By using our AI scanning feature, you grant us permission to process your receipt images to extract expense information. We do not claim ownership of your content.
Our AI-powered receipt scanning is provided "as is" and may not always be 100% accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting any extracted data. We are not liable for errors in AI-processed information or decisions made based on such information.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. TALLY IS NOT A FINANCIAL ADVISOR AND DOES NOT PROVIDE FINANCIAL, TAX, OR LEGAL ADVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TALLY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tally and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App or sending you a notification. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
